The #party was on. I had to setup my equipment early to do a prior commitment. When I arrived, i introduced myself asked what kind of music that I needed to play because I wasn’t given any info. Obviously the music tastes they had were something I wasn’t prepared for. It happens every once in awhile. So I played some mixes from Budda Bar as requested, and dinner music from Gypsy Kings. Took them awhile to sit down .I did some latin and some current pop after that . Not sure the clients knew what kind of music so they wanted and they weren’t able to verbalize it. This #wedding lead came from thumbtack. I had a great feeling about this event from the beginning . I went to the house that they were having the event prior as an extended courtesy. Danielle & Macias did an excellent job with the planning and picking out the right music. The event began at 7:00pm. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We took requests and it was just a fun night overall. I had enough rope to add my touch . I hope to play for them again soon, just fun energetic friends & family. It was an honor to be apart of their celebration and I know I exceeded their expectations. Ok, past is the past time to hit the stage and do what i do , Be the Center of Long Island Entertainment. I’ll tell you i really enjoy being on the stage behind a very powerful sound system. I got a text from my friend Cathy as she was looking for someone to play for one of her clients Brent #Birthday. They asked me to create a “nikki beach” sunday.
